Data sharing initiative for pharmaceutical excipients expands toxicology database

Lhasa Limited is delighted to announce the release of new pharmaceutical excipient data to our Vitic Excipients database.

This pre-competitive data sharing initiative facilitates anonymous sharing of excipient and vehicle toxicity data, providing members with proprietary formulation information to establish safe limits for pharmaceutical excipients while strengthening regulatory submissions.

New data release

With the latest update, the Vitic Excipients 2025.1.0 database now contains:

  • 77 new data records, bringing the total to 4,131.
  • 36 new substances, bringing the total substances to 1,419.

How does the Vitic Excipients data sharing initiative work?

Consortium members securely contribute data which actively contributes towards the reduction of animal testing. The initiative continues to aid industry data sharing and support REACH submissions by making propriety data easily accessible via a custom curated database.
