We were thrilled to hold the Software Crafters Leeds event in October, co-hosted by Codurance.
This event was for those who have ever been curious about the world of scientific software development – specifically how software can be built to predict complex scientific outcomes, without specialised scientific knowledge.
The event kicked off with a brief introduction, followed by an opportunity to collaborate in groups, pairs, or individually, according to your preference. Attendees engaged in a coding dojo designed specifically for this meetup.
At Software Crafters Leeds, attendees had the freedom to choose their preferred programming language and work style. The session was all about collaborative learning, skill enhancement and networking in a relaxed environment.
Seasoned and beginner coders were invited to share insights, discuss best practices, and learn from fellow participants.
