AI/PDE data sharing initiative announces release of new data records to streamline pharmaceutical risk assessment workflows

Lhasa Limited is pleased to announce the release of new data to the Vitic AI/PDE database.

This pre-competitive data sharing initiative facilitates anonymous sharing of AI/PDE data from pharmaceutical organisations.

With the latest update, the Vitic AI/PDE 2024.2.0 database now contains:

  • 32 new data records, bringing the total to 372.
  • 19 new substances, bringing the total to 236.

Why an AI/PDE data sharing initiative?

Currently, organisations develop compound specific AI/PDE limits for chemicals independently and thus may reach different conclusions based on the data and methodology used. This leads to potential varying AI/PDE values to be submitted to regulators for the same chemical. Creating these limits is time consuming and requires significant effort to undertake literature review.

The Lhasa Vitic AI/PDE data sharing initiative shares and harmonises this AI/PDE data, helping pharmaceutical organisations to streamline their risk assessment workflow.
