Defined Approaches to Skin Sensitisation and the integration of in silico models in an OECD Guideline

This presentation was delivered by Principal Scientist, Dr. Martyn Chilton for the PHE/BTS/IGHRC workshop entitled ‘Current status of NAMs for regulatory purposes’. The presentation  describes the development of OECD guideline 497 on defined approaches for skin sensitisation and the efforts involved in the working group to ensure in silico models were included as viable information sources in this guideline.
